Loved the Kayak/snorkeling trip!
We did the early morning kayak/snorkel trip (Jason was our guide), and it was absolutely amazing. Incredible views, and awesome snorkeling! Lots of turtles :-) Jason was incredibly knowledgable, and made the trip really really fun. No experience necessary for kayaking or snorkeling, they help you with every part! Highly recommend!

Loved Pali Seacliff kayaking trip!
We had a great time on this trip! We do kayak a little (but only on our local pond at home!) and this was a great introduction to sea kayaking. Our guide Jacob was excellent. We ended up being the only two on this trip, so it turned into a private tour. Jacob showed us how to get in and out of the kayak and then we hit the waves - and immediately ran into some whales. We ended up getting super close to a mom-calf-escort group, and they circled our kayaks (!!). We snorkeled in a great location with perfect visibility, and we were the only three there. We had all the fish and the coral to ourselves. If you are looking for a tour to a more secluded location and you are up for a paddle, this is the one for you!

Fantastic whale watch!
This was our third time with Steve as our guide. He took us out and within minutes we were already seeing these beautiful humpbacks! We saw so much activity! We saw a massive male within about 30 feet. We saw a mom teaching her baby and they were both breaching at the same time. We followed another mom and baby for a while. We saw a couple pec slaps. It was just an amazing day again with Steve.

Had a great time and fell in love with the views
This is a great tour. Found out that all proceeds go for the environment and protection of the waters and fish in the area. Had a great tour and saw about 10 different whales and one of them even came all the way out of the water. The whole family enjoyed this and it became one of our best memories of our entire vacation.

Vacation in Maui
We went on the tour & it was awesome. You get to swim with turtles and other fish as well. An under water camera comes in handy. The tour we went on was at the Ukumehame Beach Park, Not to many people. we did some Kyaking and snorkling. the price is around 100.00 dollars, They serve snacks and drinks as well.

Happy Turtles; Happy Family
Our family (one 8 year old daughter who is a good swimmer) did the Turtle Reef Discovery on the South Shore. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it to other families.Safety: The website claims it is safe for 5 and older, and I would agree (they have double-seat kayaks and a young child can ride as a passenger). While you don't need kayak experience, you should keep in mind that this is a physical activity and you will exert a lot of energy to paddle, snorkel and paddle back. Also, the conditions of the ocean can change while you're out on the water. We were pretty close to the shore the entire time (farther out than we would consider doing with a child from the beach). Customer Service: We had a great customer service when the original date had to be cancelled due to heavy swells (8-10') - a two minute phone call was all it took to reschedule. Our experience: When we finally hit the water, we had a very experienced guide - Steve had 30 years of snorkeling and 18 years with the company. Steve took us straight to turtles at two different locations as well as moving to some nice coral reefs to see more fish. Even though it was just our family of three on this tour (another group had to cancel), Steve was engaged with our family and gave a lot of attention to our daughter as well as us parents. We hung out with turtles who seem very happy to just hang out with us (just don't touch the turtles!). Overall, we had a great experience! No complaints. We feel that Maui Eco Tours are serious about provide the best experience for its customers.

Love this trip!
This was our second time. Went out on a kayak whale watch,/snorkel with Steve as our guide again and, once again steve did not let us down. Saw some whales fairly close. Went snorkeling and saw a couple turtles and some beautiful fish. The reef is awesome. Will do again next time we visit.
