Our private guided tour around Makena Bay is perfect for those looking to get a little exercise and enjoy the fun of paddle boarding! Our guide takes your small group around the bay, where you can view various marine life, such as our sea turtles, dolphins, and more. Enjoy a swim right off your paddle board — the crystal clear waters are too inviting not to take a dip!
Makena bay is a paddler’s dream, featuring great ocean conditions, excellent reef systems, and exceptional scenery all around, with Molokini in the distance, the island of Kahoolawe as a backdrop, and miles and miles of beautiful ocean surrounding it all. This area has something for everyone, from SCUBA divers, stand-up paddlers, and OC1 to kayak fishermen. Did we mention turtles? This area is host to a very large population of honu (local term for the Hawaiian green sea turtle), and they are magnificent creatures. They are everywhere here!
Makena is South Maui gem, and it is our very favorite spot.
